1st time staying at an over 55 RV resort. The residents had lots with some cement pads and landscaping etc. short stayers stayed in gravel rows shut together well-nigh the entrance road. We had full hook ups and even Gita name badge to use facilities. We enjoyed the large puddle indoor for laps and work out room. Even used the tv room to watch cablevision hockey game. But 20-25 mins to Phoenix northern suburbs so dainty to be in a quiet location with surrounding mountains.
Staff was squeamish and the bath and showers were remodeled nicely. Would stay over again for short stays.
Janette would stay here again

The most wonderful people (55 plus) stay at this, the best campground for the cost, in Phoenix! This identify is on the desert surrounded by alpine cacti and Palo Verde trees. It is Picturesque. We stayed here for just ii nights, and it is pretty clear that this is a campground with LOTS (a hefty majority) of folks who stay here for long stretches. Lots of little mobile homes with rigs parked past them. I suspect there are snowbirds & full-timers. Not so many short termers similar us. We were given Spot #2, correct by the exit... more

Nosotros have been full-time RV'ers for v years and have stayed several wintertime seasons at Pioneer. The location is swell for North Phoenix, and has straight access to the desert. Our first opinion of the park was that information technology was quite and clean only for some reason the function staff was quite rude. We are a immature 55 and thought peradventure they just didn't similar usa? We soon learned that the office staff is rude to the general population and the General Manager, Chip, is unbelievably horrible-and ever 'out of the office'.
The only reason we returned afterwards our start experience was the location is close to the grandkids, otherwise we would not have returned. The office rudeness has continued to escalate and now nosotros feel bigotry is rampant within the park office and community. If you value civil and homo rights, or maybe simply prefer a smile when doing business, pick another location, you volition be glad y'all did.

Friendly and helpful staff, but check-in takes forever. If you don't want a copy taken of your credit card yous demand to tell them. Don't bother making reservation online. You'll become a confirmation that information technology was received, but ours was never processed on site. Thankfully I called and took 20 minutes to become a reservation. Well maintained ... more
